General Ward

The General Ward at MRSH stands as a symbol of compassionate, dignified care for the economically weaker sections of society.

At a nominal charge of just ₹25 per day — the lowest of any hospital, government or private, in West Bengal — patients receive two meals, breakfast, evening tea, milk, linen, oxygen, and round-the-clock nursing care. The actual cost exceeds ₹250 per bed daily, with MRS subsidising nearly ₹1 Crore annually.

Despite the minimal charges, no compromise is made on quality or comfort. Every patient in our General Ward receives the same attentive care and medical supervision as those in premium facilities elsewhere.
